Jerry Waters
Jerry Waters is a dedicated public servant with over two decades of experience in community safety and emergency response. After serving in the U.S. Marines, he began his career as a volunteer firefighter in 2001. His commitment to saving lives led him to become a certified American Heart Association instructor and a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), teaching lifesaving skills to a wide range of individuals.
Beyond his professional roles, Jerry has given back to the community by volunteering as a youth sports coach. Recognizing a critical need, he and his wife founded West Central Missouri Search & Recovery, a non-profit organization dedicated to both rescue and recovery efforts. Jerry is currently preparing to enhance the team's capabilities by training in K-9 search and scent detection, a testament to his ongoing commitment to serving his community.
